What’s your fortune like in the Year of the Wooden Horse?

Go with the flow.

This is what feng shui expert Marites Allen advises Filipinos before 2014 ushers in the Year of the Wooden Horse on February 4.

Allen is the go-to geomancer of celebrities like Kris Aquino, Boy Abunda, Tim Yap and Tessa Prieto-Valdez.

Great luck for the Snake, Rooster and Ox

In an event at the F1 Hotel last October, Allen said the coming year will be a good one for people born on the years of the Snake, Rooster and Ox.

“Collectively, these are the signs who will enjoy the greatest success luck in 2014. These are the visionaries of the zodiac,” Allen explained.

Continued success for the Rabbit, Boar and Sheep

She added that people born on the years of Rabbit, Boar, and Sheep will also continue to enjoy success next year.

They will have the luck to quietly walk away with the prize in any outright competitive situation, she explained.

“It is more effective for these signs to become solid and reliable, and not appear arrogant and aggressive,” she advised.

Obstacles for the Rat, Monkey and Dragon

However, Allen warned Rat, Monkey, and Dragon-born people might face obstacles and encounter many troublemakers, who may cause unseen problems.

She told people born on these years to observe themselves as their success luck is not strong, saying “they should surround themselves with water energy.”

Water elements are believed to boost their waning energy in the Year of the Horse.

Elusive success for the Horse, Dog and Tiger

Meanwhile, Allen feared that success is also going to be elusive for those born in the years of the Horse, Dog and Tiger.

“They will find the year tough in terms of bringing the work projects to completion,” she cautioned.

“So they better avoid pursuing tough assignments such as their love life or a course study that opens up new career directions for them.”

Those born in the Year of the Wooden Horse

Allen, who also designs her own fashion line Frigga based on her readings, related that people born in the Year of the Wooden Horse are generally strong and quick-tempered.

To those whose luck seems inauspicious in 2014, she advices, “It is best that you just go with the flow to ride smoothly the coming year,” Allen said.

Allen will be holding the annual Feng Shui Updates at the F1 Hotel in Bonifacio Global City in Taguig on December 7. She will provide insights and recommendations on how each sign should confront the coming year.

Tickets are available at all World of Feng Shui Philippines boutiques in Metro Manila.
