Roberto Cavalli Hopes To Launch A Cosmetics Collection!

Backstage at Just Cavalli Autumn/Winter 2012

Only last month we heard that the gorgeous brit model Georgia May Jagger had been appointed as the new face of Roberto Cavalli’s second fragrance, Just Cavalli, set to launch in February 2012. Speaking out about her new campaign Georgia said “Roberto Cavalli is a great designer. The Just Cavalli brand is very sexy, young and cool. Each collection is very contemporary and colourful; it is clearly for the younger generation who wants to have a trendy look.  It is the first fragrance that I have ever done so it is a huge honour.”

The big wigs at Coty Prestige who own the Just Cavalli fragrance were equally pleased with their sparkling new signing:  “Georgia is a talented fashion icon. She’s sexy and provocative. Rock is in her DNA. She is the perfect muse for the new Just Cavalli feminine fragrance”, said Françoise Mariez, SVP International European Marketing Licences, Coty Prestige.

Shortly afterwards, a few more details of the new scent emerged into the beauty-sphere and now we’re feeling altogether pretty excited about the Tahitian tiare flower, neroli, and palissander wood blend. Mmmm.  Sounds good right?  As if all of this wasn’t news enough, today we discovered that Cavalli has spoken to WWD revealing that while he feels scent is an important part of a woman's life, what he really wants to do is eventually dip into the world of color cosmetics.  *Sigh.*   We’re dreaming of glossy animal-print packaging and deliciously embossed palettes already.  Aren’t you?

5 nutrition tips for better sleep

In France, after observing the link between eating habits and sleep hygiene in a recent study, the National Institute of Sleep and Vigilance (INVS) and the health insurer MGEN share suggestions on how to eat to improve the chances of getting a good night's rest. Never skip dinner: "If the body has not consumed enough energy, sleep will be fragmented.
