Mistakes You Might be Making in Your New Relationship

Mistakes You Might be Making in Your New RelationshipThe rush of being in a relationship can at times get the better of us.

It is not uncommon to make innocent errors in a new relationship. If you are one of those lucky ones to be in a relationship with the girl of your dreams, read on to know about common new relationship mistakes men make and do make it a point to avoid them.

1. Too much attention

All girls love attention from their man. What they don’t like is being suffocated with that attention. Shower her with your thoughtfulness but don’t drown her in it. After all, you want her to know that you are available, but not ‘freely’ available.

2. Comparing her with your ex

This is the most common error that most of us make. Remember that you are in a new relationship with a new person. She is not your ex and will never be; so it is only wise to stop finding your ex in her. Treat her with respect and dignity. Treat her for what she is and what she deserves.

3. Moving too fast too soon

Women like to function at their own pace. There are no stereotypes they will conform too and they won’t do things because their friends are doing it. Yes, we are talking about sex. Don’t rush into it. Make sure she is ready and willing before you throw yourself too hard at her. Your enthusiasm might scare her and she may want to call it off. Don’t move too fast too soon, or you’ll suffer.

4. Expecting too much

Every relationship needs time to grow. It takes time to develop understanding and companionship between the two parties involved. You could be jeopardising your relationship if you expect too much from her and from the relationship. Give your relationship space and time to grow. Don’t stifle it in under the burden of your expectations.

Avoid these common errors and soak in the happiness of your new relationship. (Dating, MensXP.com)
