There's No Such Thing as Too Much Bacon

Bacon fanatics out there have found brilliant ways to insert bacon into their daily lives. From portable bacon such as bacon bits or bacon in a squeeze bottle, to bacon on a whole 'nother level with bacon vodka, bacon taco shells, bacon floss and toothpaste, and even bacon soda.

The possibilities are endless. The ultimate bacon freak loved bacon so much, he created bacon lube just so he could take his bacon to bed and eat it, too. Heck, Lady Gaga wore a meat dress. It should’ve just been made out of bacon, maybe that could've expanded her fanbase to dogs.

Yep, we just can’t get enough of bacon, and honestly, who can? So we came up with a fool-proof recipe for our readers to enjoy anytime of the day, because sharing is caring.

DIY Bacon Butter

1 cup (or 2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup chopped *bacon

*A cup is approximately 6-8 strips of bacon.

1. Bake the bacon at 375 F on a rack for 20 to 25 minutes. The rendered fat should be set aside and can also be used to make eggs. See? Nothing goes to waste.
2. Combine the softened butter and chopped bacon in a bowl. For a sweet variation, add 2 tablespoons of honey.
3. Store bacon butter in the fridge overnight to allow it to firm up again.

Juice tip-off: Bacon butter goes best with grilled cheese sandwiches.
