From Carrie to Condé -- Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker will take a cameo role as the online editor of the esteemed fashion publication Vogue in an episode of Glee, airing on US's Fox network.
Sarah Jessica Parker is certainly no stranger to primetime TV audiences. After having spent nearly ten years in the role of Carrie Bradshaw, a character loosely based on author Candace Bushnell, she will now star as fashion editor Isabelle Wright Thursday night, playing opposite Glee star Chris Colfer's character Kurt Hummel.
SJP is not the only star to join the Glee cast for a moment in the spotlight. Kate Hudson starred in the season premiere which went out on September 13 this year.
Real-life US Vogue editor Anna Wintour provided invaluable styling advice for the show, promoting some of her brands of the moment, including designs by Prabal Gurung, Altuzarra, Belstaff and Fendi.
The sneak preview shows the 47-year-old actress interviewing Kurt Hummel for an internship position, examining his resume on an iPad-like tablet computer and bonding with him over their mutual origins in the US state of Ohio.
The hit US musical show is now in its fourth season, and received three Emmy nominations in July this year, although it failed to pick up a win at the awards held this month. Founded in 1892, Vogue magazine has been described by Caroline Weber of the New York Times as "the world's most influential fashion magazine."
