Swimming finals beginning at 7:41pm
Tuesday is another full day of swimming, with heats beginning at 10am and running throughout the day. Men and women swim for 200m freestyle gold (see if Michael Phelps can earn redemption). Also, women swim for 200m individual medley gold while the men swim the 4x200m freestyle relay final.
Women's gymnastics: team final beginning at 4:30pm
These petite powerhouses battle it out for team glory, with the US, China, and Russia poised to bring home the team gold. Keep an eye on the US's two brightest 16-year-old stars, Gabby Douglas and Jordyn Wieber. Others to watch: Russia's Viktoria Komova and China's Deng Linlin.
Slalom canoeing (C1), men's single final at 3:06pm
Men tackle the raging rapids of Lee Valley White Water Centre in London for the gold medal in the slalom canoeing C1, which became a permanent part of the Olympic Games 20 years ago in Barcelona. Top competitors in the semi-finals include France's Tony Estanguet, world champion Britain's David Florence, and Beijing gold medalist Michal Martikan of Slovakia.
