Nine-Month-Old Supermodel? Harper Beckham Receives First Modelling Contract… But Will She Accept?

She’s just nine months old – but Harper Beckham’s hard work perfecting that pout is already paying off, since she was offered her first modelling contract this week. (We know.)

In an admittedly super cute letter from baby clothing company My 1^st Years – which sells personalised fashionable baby gifts for tots – little Harper is asked to follow in the footsteps of her mum and dad, to become the face of their brand new range.

She’s certainly had some practice at being in the public eye, at least – in fact, she’s been photographed hundreds of times already and even given the paps some lip. (Remember that notorious snap with her Dad for Victoria’s Fashion Week debut? She’s definitely got the attitude.)

My1stYears.com wrote to Harper before sharing it with MyDaily.co.uk in full. It read: ‘We are delighted to inform you that the UK's leading manufacturer of personalised baby gifts, My1stYears.com, would like to invite you to become the face of our new range.

‘Both your parents are fashion icons, and we can see no reason why you shouldn't start your own career in the fashion industry even at your young age.

‘From what we have seen of you since your first public appearance less than a year ago, we know you have implacable style and taste. You were therefore the immediate first choice for our campaign.’

(Told you – it’s adorable, right?)

But is tiny Harper ready for her close up just yet? Despite there being a whole host of child models around, at nine months old Harper would certainly be one of the youngest (but cutest) to date. There’s no doubt that with her Pop Princess turned Fashion Queen Mummy, she’ll have no problems fitting in the Fash-wan crowd.

The upmarket babywear company made it clear that Victoria and David would have to the final say on the offer, despite the letter being addressed to Harper herself. They told her: "Due to child labour laws we cannot negotiate a contract or salary directly with you, that is why your Mummy and Daddy have been copied in on this letter."
