What Men and Women Hate About Each Other

MensXP/ShutterstockIn the battle of the sexes, both men and women are capable of irritating each other to no ends.

While men complain of women being neat-freaks, women raise their cudgels to the lack of cleanliness in men. The list goes on!

1. What Women Hate About Men

If women could act on matriarchal anarchy, they’d wipe the male species from the face of the earth just for their irritating behaviour. Here are some of those traits.

a. Lack of Cleanliness

Let’s face it – men aren’t the cleanliest of all beings. They love to live in their organized clutter. If their wet towels aren’t strewn over the couch or their clothes over the room, they don’t feel quite at home. They practically believe that they are doing the world a favour by not bathing. In a world run by them, they would happily scratch their privates and consume food with the same hand, without any dissuading. Honestly speaking, if a woman had to pick a partner she’d willingly choose a self-grooming lab rat over a man any day.

b. Over-Dominance

Even if one tries to look beyond the questionable hygiene habits, men tend to spite anger in women by their extremely sexist behaviour alone. When they are not making sexist insinuations, they are objectifying women. Men believe that they are nothing but heavenly gifts bestowed upon the ‘weaker’ sex to help them steer through the difficulties of life. Their increasing tendency to prove their superiority makes them extremely irritating.

c. Ego Issues

If there has to be a partner for Man, his ego will be the perfect one. To separate a man from his male ego is sacrilege; to endure it is a torture of unspeakable proportions. The tough exterior is just a worldly display hiding the insecure child within. The slightest little act of displeasure sends the male ego acting up in insurmountable ways.

2. What Men Hate About Women

When it comes to irritating men, women do not stay very far behind. Here are some hated traits in women.

a. Clean Freaks

Women are so clinically regimented that it is not even funny. Their cleanliness tendencies borderline mental illness. Their spaces are so painfully clean that it almost feels weirdly religious entering them. From their routine cleaning to their elaborate grooming methods, every act potentially reeks of OCD. On a good day, one is sure to find some poor woman scrubbing the crook of her U-bend with a toothbrush. And they say men are crazy!

b. PMS

Women undergoing PMS are nothing but slow-ticking bombs, leaving men on the precarious edge of reason. One little wrong move and she might explode into a flurry of tears and no man wants to be on the receiving end of that torture. PMS-ing women are hot at one instant and cold at the other, leaving men to decipher their every mood, lest they accidentally offend her elusive sanity.

These differences truly show how men and women are different in their own rights. But to determine which of them is more irritating is a debate that should be left for another day.
