Make a piggy bank out of an empty powder container

What better way to teach your kids the value of money and resourcefulness than to help them make their own piggy bank by recycling your empty powder containers.

You might have seen something like this before but keep the cuteness factor going by spray painting and drawing on the container to make it look like a pig. And while you are at it, make little “piglet banks” as well!

Materials needed:

Empty power container
Cutter
Sandpaper
Spray paint
Marker pen

Procedure:
Step 1: Clean empty powder container by prying off the rotating shifter cover.
Step 2: Return cover.
Step 3: Scratch off label with sandpaper and wipe clean.
Step 4: Coat with a layer or two of spray paint and let dry.
Step 5: With a marker pen, draw pig eyes, ears, snout, legs and tail.
Step 6: Use cutter to make a slit on the upper portion of the container.
