FIRST LOOK: Opening Ceremony's Collaboration With Topshop!

After ten whole years, Opening Ceremony – as in THE store to go to when you touch down in NYC – is finally landing on our shores, with a special Olympic-inspired pop-up shop in London’s Covent Garden opening on July 19. In next week’s issue of Grazia we speak exclusively to the OC founders (and possibly coolest-phenomenon-spotters-on-planet-fashion) Carole Lim and Humberto Leon about coming to Blighty for 2012 and take a look at what this particular Opening Ceremony mecca will be stocked with. We can give you a clue: it’s all sports-inspired. In addition to the brilliant collab with Adidas Originals, many of the special edition pieces OC have received from their many cool designers are under wraps until next week. But today we can reveal that high street giant Topshop has teamed with the store to create a capsule collection of ultra-cool neoprene pieces! It’s the first time the creative power-house has collaborated with a high street store and if you aren’t impressed by this then let us recap on Opening Ceremony’s high calibre of collaborative hook-ups of collections past…. Chloe Sevigny, Pendleton, Maison Martin Margiela, Rodarte, to name but a few.
