First look at Nicki Minaj's perfume that smells like 'angels playing'

Nicki Minaj's 'Pink Friday' fragrance bottle

With the impending Lady Gaga fragrance launch fast approaching there had to be a new celebrity scent in the pipeline to feed our impatient beauty appetites.  And the latest celebrity to announce they are entering the fragrant world of perfume?  Well, it’s nun-other than Nicki Minaj!   On the total opposite side of the scent scale to Lady Gaga’s slightly ‘out-there’ black liquid perfume Fame, Nicki Minaj released the name of the scent, ‘Pink Friday’ along with a picture of the unmistakable bottle, as a teaser to all her fans.  However there are of course similarities with both stylised celebs being true to their characters through their fragrances.  Nicki who is practically synonymous with the candy hue of pink, and is often sporting the colour in her hair and matching outfits, has incorporated her wacky, girly style in the fun, hip-hop happy bottle.  Tweeting a picture of the ‘girls world’ style bottle, which we’re guessing is based on Minaj in a self-perfume portrait, it was no wonder it got her fans all in a twitter!  One fan, curious as to what the scent will smell like, tweeted Nicki who responded with what we’re assuming is an obvious response for such a fun-loving pop princess, replying  “like angels playing”!  So is this fragrance heaven scent?!  Sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves, we can only imagine what heaven smells like and ‘angels playing’?  Sweet, sweet sweat and candy floss we’d like to think.  Launching next month in the States, we hope it lands on our shores very soon!
