Kate Middleton To Sleep On The Streets With Lisa Maxwell For Charity Centrepoint

Prince William has done it and so has Princess Diana. Now it's the turn of Kate Middleton to spend the night sleeping rough on the streets of London. No, Prince Charles hasn't booted her out of the palace for hammering his budget with endless fancy frocks, the Duchess of Cambridge has agreed to camp out in order to raise awareness of London's growing homeless problem. What a good princess!

The 30-year-old Royal will take on the challenge for Centrepoint’s Sleep Out campaign, which aims to get young homeless people off the streets. It's all thanks to Lisa Maxwell who met Kate at a party and swiftly signed her up. 'I work with Centrepoint and William's our patron,' the Loose Women regular and charity ambassador told the Daily Mirror. 'We had a little do and they both came down. She asked me about sleeping out, so I said: "Next time I do it, you're doing it with me. No excuses, he's done it." She said: "You're on."'

Aw, we always knew K-Middy is a good sport. Earlier this month we saw her out of her nude-heeled, coat-dressed comfort zone and joining a pack of children to walk through the muddy woods in a pair of leather-lined wellies. And who could forget when the dressed-down Duchess donned that pair of coral red jeans and a grey hoody for a game of hockey? So we're expecting to see her back in skinny jeans + a snug Barbour jacket for her night on the streets.

And who better than her hubby to offer some words of advice? You'll remember it was back in 2009 that Wills slept rough alongside the wheelie bins under Blackfriars Bridge whilst wearing a rather fetching green beanie. But! We've just noticed that the Duchess and Ms Maxwell have a certain Orla Kiely coat dress in common. Ooh, might they go matchy-matchy...?
