Jubilee Beauty: Make Like Diane Kruger and Kirsten Dunst With Princess-esque Hair & Make-Up

In this week’s special issue of Grazia, we get in the Jubilee spirit by celebrating some serious diamond shine courtesy of this summer’s newest beauty frosting.  And guess what? We’re not the only ones testing the princessy trend. From Cheryl Cole's glossy locks to Diane Kruger's shimmering eyeshadow, have a click through the gallery above to see which stars have been getting involved. And below, we tell you how to give it a go for your weekend celebrations…

Add a Little Extra Frosting!

Just be sure to bear in mind that a little goes a very long way.  Keep your crystal cut shimmer to one area only and let that bling begin.  Nails, eyelids, lips and cheeks are all up for grabs.  We love mixing our foundation with a luminous pearlescent base – It will mean that the light can catch you from any angle. Our faves have got to be MAC Strobe Cream, £21.50 and Clarins Beauty Flash Balm, £28 – both work a treat. You can also try patting a highlighter like Stila All Over Shimmer, £16 onto temples and cheek bones for some seriously high-shine. On the other hand, a sleek, shiny pearlescent shadow will offer a quick fix solution to sparkling bright eyes.  Bourjois Paris Light Eyeshadows, £3.49 are just the thing.

Get a Royal Flush!

A truly royal glow comes from within girls so get that skin glowing with the latest primers, polishers and skin-finishers.  Luckily for you we have tried them all! Giorgio Armani Luminessence Bright Regenerator Complex, £105 brightens lacklustre skin in tip top time while Carita’s Diamond Anti-Aging Precious Cream, £430 combines tourmaline and diamond extracts with plant minerals to achieve light, bright, luminous skin.  Primers are another easy way to get this glow and prep skin pre-makeup.  FashionistA Flawless Primer, £10 is a Grazia fave.

It’s Time for Princessy Hair!

Hair should dazzle with gloss so be sure to choose shine-boosting shampoos and serums to achieve a high shine gloss without overweighing hair and leaving it limp and lackluster. Pureology’s Purify Shampoo, £13.85 is a sulphate- free clarifying shampoo which leaves hair squeaky clean, while L’Oreal’s Nutri-Gloss Crystal Sparkling Conditioner, £2.69 does exactly what it say on the tin. Finally achieve salon quality shine chez vous with a shine boosting serum like Jo Hansford Expert Colour Care Illuminoil, £29 which also happens to help split ends too.

Well what are you waiting for? Get glowing girls!
