Keep your child’s play kitchen and pantry in stock with these adorable little milk and juice cartons. Made out of toilet paper rolls, these miniature packages are easy to make and fun to play with.
Step 1: Fold tissue paper rolls lengthwise 2 times to form a “square cylinder.”
Step 2: Make 4 parallel vertical cuts about 1 -1 ½ inches on the corners to make flaps.
Step3: Take 2 opposite flaps together and make about a ¼ inch “crease” from the ends of each flap.
Step 4: Attach a small piece of double sided tape between the 2 flaps. (Do not peel the tape off just yet!)
Step 5: Take the other pair of opposite flaps and cut each of them to form a triangle.
Step 6: Fold triangular flaps inward.
Step 7: Peel off double-sided tape and attach together remaining flaps.
Step 8: Fix the bottom by repeating Step 2 but this time, make the flaps shorter, about ¼ inch.
Step 9: Cut the corners of the flaps at an angle and fold inward.
Step 10: Cut a small piece of cardboard slightly smaller than the base and glue over the bottom flaps.
Step 11: Paint the carton and glue the “labels.” (You may cut out pictures from magazine advertisements.)
