Final version of Windows 8 available for trial

Microsoft is offering a 90-day trial version of its updated operating system Windows 8, which will officially go on sale on October 26.

The trial is for the Enterprise edition of Windows 8, which is available in a dozen languages, with the offer intended for developers building Windows 8 apps and IT professionals.

The operating system is available in 32 and 64 bits. A subscription to Windows Live is required for the download of this evaluation version. The minimum setup required to run it is a 1GHz processor with 1GB of Ram and 20GB of hard disk space.
