We are surrounded by colors every day the moment we open our eyes and as we prepare for work. When Mang Jun, Jennylyn, and Celso go to work, they make sure that they are at their best wearing the uniform that they are proud of. They make sure that the color of their uniform is bright so that it looks cleaner and in effect it makes them feel more confident that they can do their job really well.
The colors that they wear are somehow representative of their work. Mang Jun works as a security guard and the dark navy blue color gives him pride. Jennylyn is a young Red Cross volunteer and the crimson color of her shirt makes her very hard to ignore which makes it easy for her to ask for donations. Celso’s uniform is worn whenever there’s a fire emergency and he feels that when he’s wearing his fireman’s suit in a neon green shade, he is stronger and is able to save lives and properties.
The colors that they proudly wear indicate that they take pride in their jobs. These colors are there to remind us the importance of their contributions to society. We need to celebrate their strengths and acknowledge their devotion to their jobs.
We can reward the hard work that they do by making them feel that we value their contribution. The ones who hold under celebrated jobs must not go under appreciated.
