The Cannes Film Festival 2012 Has Begun! Diane Kruger Gets The Style Marathon Started in a Versus Dress

OK folks, get ready to make your day 1000 times better: the 2012 Cannes Film Festival has begun! And you know what the means? A non-stop frock-a-thon on the sunniest of red carpets courtesy of a gang, nay, a BEVY of A-list starlets. Quite frankly, what more could you ask for?

Mere hours ago, the festivities kicked-off in France thanks to the utterly crush-worthy Diane Kruger who pulled on a pretty little frock for the Feature Film Jury Photocall. She posed alongside the dreamy Ewan McGregor and fashion monsieur Jean Paul Gaultier, who are part of this year's jury, but ensured all eyes were on her thanks to this minxy maroon number. It comes from Versus' Autumn Winter 2012 collection, designed by Christopher Kane, and features saucy black straps across her tiny waist and shoulders. What a hottie! The pleated skirt and black Jimmy Choo ‘Katima’ strappy sandals are ideal for making the most of her dainty legs while that wavy hair keeps the look not-too-try-hard.

Ah, we knew we could count on D-Krugz and this proves that there are only good things are to come. We are looking forward to the red carpet rounds muchly already and with (deep breath) Kristen Stewart, Tilda Swinton, Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska set to hit France, our fashion-hungry eyes are in for a right treat. Stay tuned!
