“Media practitioners, journalists and writers are the links by which cultural information and education is disseminated to the general public,” said museum curator Jeannie Javelosa.
By teaming up with FWGP, Yuchengco Museum can focus on catering to the needs of the creative industries.
Javelosa hopes that “collaborative ventures that will highlight culture as an intrinsic and central pillar for development directions.”

Seeking new talent

FWGP is composed of journalists, feature writers, copywriters, researchers and documenters, blog writers, screenwriters, literary writers, and SEO experts.
FWGP hopes to lend a helping hand to freelance and upcoming writers by improving their skills, expanding their understanding of new media and recognizing the opportunities that exist in the digital world.
Workshop fees are pegged at P1,800.
