By Marie Calica for Yahoo! Southeast Asia

Next to the phrase "you gained weight," the comment "you look tired" is a line you don't want to hear. But what's a girl to do when you're running on four hours sleep, under the weather, or stressed out?  At least one of these tricks can help perk you up and leave you looking alert, awake, and enthusiastic!

      1. Make concealer your best friend. Dark circles around the eyes give an "up all night," tired look. If you're lacking sleep, fake it with concealer. Choose a color that matches your foundation shade (or get something one grade lighter; you can mix the two hues together as an alternative).

What to do: Dot the inner third of your lower eye area with concealer, then use your ring finger or a concealer brush to gently pat (don't pull or tug!) the product on to your skin. Finish off with a very light dusting of loose powder. Pro Tip: Cream or liquid formulas are your best bet because they're ultra blendable, which is very important when

Even if  you're not a big makeup fan, a tube of lipstick is a simple thing to have in your beauty arsenal. With just a swipe of color, the right shade can complete your look, make you appear more polished, professional, or ready to let your hair down for the office party. ThinkstockGuys tell us what turns them on—and keeps them interested

By Pierra Calasanz-Labrador for Yahoo! Southeast Asia

What gets guys all hot and bothered? What is it about a girl that would catch his attention, make him want to ask her out, and keep him enthralled? Ten Pinoy guys help us find the answers. Girls, are you taking notes?

      Windows to Her Soul

You know how we love it when a guy makes us feel like we’re the only girl in the room? Apparently, it works the other way, too. Jack, an online entrepreneur says: “It's in the eyes. The way she makes eye contact, and how her eyes furl and sparkle when she smiles, convey a genuineness that makes me look forward to more. This, coupled by the ever so slight biting of the lower lip, is a natural aphrodisiac.”

A Good Heart and a Goddess Body

    • How Technology Can Ruin Your Love Life

ThinkstockDo you find it hard to stop contacting the person you like, especially if he doesn't reply? Maybe it's time to put the phone down

When Martin Cooper and his Motorola team created the first ever mobile phone back in 1973, do you think they knew how much heartache and break-ups their invention would cause? We think not. Here we show you five ways technology ruins your love life.

      1. Technology makes you want to jump into bed too quickly

According to a recent study conducted by Reuters, technology is causing us to jump into bed too quickly with people we like. The study found that those singles who contacted potential partners using Facebook and Twitter built up a false sense of intimacy. It is suggested that these superficial interactions then caused people to sleep with one another sooner than they would do had all of their interactions occurred face-to-face.

Although you may not think that sleeping with someone you fancy is necessarily a bad thing, another study conducted by Cornell University found that couples who waited to sleep together reported having stronger, happier and more fulfilling relationships

By Pierra Calasanz-Labrador for Yahoo! Southeast Asia

You're in a relationship with the love of your life, when you discover you need to continue your romance long distance. You promise to keep in touch, you promise to stay true, but as time goes by the calls and emails taper off and you start to feel like you're drifting apart. How do you keep the love alive? Here are 10 long-distance relationship killers to steer clear of.

      1. Don't be a green-eyed monster. Paolo Pineda, a 32-year-old fashion photographer, says, "If you don't trust the guy to begin with, the relationship won't work from day one. You will never know if the guy is doing something crazy and you might just end up going crazy thinking about it." Beware of falling into the vicious cycle of long-distance relationship jealousy. Paolo cautions, "Never compensate by doing something stupid to just get even."

      2. Don't keep your partner in the dark. It can be difficult to keep each other updated long distance about all the little
