Agyness Deyn in grungy Dr. Martens film

Agyness Deyn is the star of a grunge-inspired film by Dr. Martens to celebrate the launch of her collaboration with the iconic footwear label.

Having appeared in the British footwear brand's Fall 2011 and Spring 2012 ad campaigns, Deyn already has close links with the label, and earlier this year it was announced that she would be launching a limited edition clothing, footwear and accessories line with the label for Fall 2012.

The range, which launches August 15, has been dubbed as a union of "two British icons" and a defender of "personal style and identity".

Deyn dons her new designs in the recently unveiled campaign video, where she also has a flame red bob instead of her usual peroxide tresses.

"I'm very hard to pin down, I'm not a bird that would adapt well to having their wings clipped," she muses in the film.

Known for her androgynous aesthetic, Deyn purchased her first pair of Dr. Martens boots at the age of 13. With past team-ups including a quirky T-shirt range for high street brand Uniqlo, the British model selects her collaborations wisely.
