Can a Song Save Your Life?, an upcoming film produced by Judd Apatow (Bridesmaids), has cast Catherine Keener (Where the Wild Things Are) and Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine in the romantic drama.
Other stars include Keira Knightley (A Dangerous Method), Mark Ruffalo (The Avengers) and Hailee Steinfield (True Grit).
The story focuses on a down-and-out music producer, played by Ruffalo, who bonds with a young singer-songwriter new to Manhattan.
John Carney, who directed 2006's hit Once with Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova -- which inspired the Tony winning Broadway musical, has written and will direct the film.
Next up, Knightley stars in the upcoming Anna Karenina with Jude Law and Aaron Johnson.
Keener will costar with James Franco in Maladies and Philip Seymour Hofman and Christopher Walken in A Late Quartet.
Ruffalo stars with Gwyneth Paltrow in Thanks for Sharing and the Louis Leterrier thriller Now You See Me with Jesse Eisenberg and Michael Caine.
